We are elated to share some heartwarming news! Thanks to the incredible support from Goonj and the spontaneous support from friends, we have successfully distributed warm clothes to children in five villages of Ganj Basoda and seven villages of Panna. In total, 500 children aged 5-14 are now snug in cozy sweaters, enabling them to attend school and our Bal Angans without the discomfort of the winter chill.
As winter took hold in our field areas in Madhya Pradesh, we witnessed firsthand the challenges faced by our children. Each year, as temperatures drop, continuing their education in the biting cold becomes increasingly difficult.
We made our appeal for contributions when winter was already upon us, and your prompt and generous support allowed us to purchase 200 additional sweaters beyond the 300 provided by Goonj. From the bottom of our hearts, we extend our deepest gratitude to each of you who answered the call for help. You have touched our children with your warmth and brought many smiles.
